Fig salad

Figs are easily one of my favourite fruits. I love when they come into season towards the end of summer and they hold up really well through to winter. Pairing here perfectly with the strong flavours of parma ham, rocket, feta cheese and balsamic vinegar.

Serve this salad as a starter, use the picture above as a guide and place just a small amount on each plate. Otherwise add a lot more for people to help themselves or serve it as a main salad for lunch, delicious with some custy bread.

Quarter figs, and arrange with parma ham, rocket leaves and crumbled feta. Drizzle with balsamic syrup.
