Spring in Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow

May 12, 2015

A few weeks ago we had a beautiful few weeks of glorious sunshine here in Glasgow, right when I was studying (typical). It’s now back to the freezing cold and rainy Scotland that we know and love

I’m lucky enough to live near Kelvingrove Park and at the first sign of spring I’m straight over there snapping away.

I found it so nice and calming to wander round the park during my study days and it really helped clear my mind.

Kelvingrove Park is probably my favourite spot in the whole city and I love watching it change throughout the seasons. Spring is definitely my favourite as the blossom trees are in full swing and there are beautiful flowers everywhere.

I mean look at these amazing blossom trees, it’s like my very own little blossom canopy.

Not one person could walk past them without getting their phone out for a snap.

Now a little walk wouldn’t be complete without a treat, so I stopped in at my favourite little bakery, Cottonrake, on Great Western Road for a blueberry and almond tart – my favourite!

Hope everyone has been having a lovely weekend.

That’s great! You will love it, so many great bars and restaurants. I may be biased but you should definitely consider living in the west end :) x

I’d love to live in the west end! I’ll be right in the centre for my first year but after that I’d definitely consider moving out there x
